The day before Christmas Eve.
About 50 people gathered from all over Yamagata and from other prefectures to Shinjo Catholic Church to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
    During the Mass, Father Honma gave a message saying...
"The stable that Jesus was born in is like our hearts. When we cannot love, or when we can only think of ourselves, it is like the stable that is cold, dark, and gloomy. We need to open our hearts to Him".

     After the mass, was the Christmas Party.
Church members cooked Philippine food served during Christmas, such as spaghetti, pansit, and macaroni salad which covered the table and everyone stuffed themselves with the delicious food.

    After the feast came the games. Kidｓ and adults enjoyed a round of musical chairs, and laughter fulled the room.We also enjoyed dancing to music and listening to the leaders of "chonaikai" sing.
